We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate QA Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for testing our applications, identifying issues, and ensuring a smooth user experience. Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and usability testing
- Review requirements and provide feedback to improve product quality
- Assist in writing and maintaining test plans and test cases
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers
- Validate new features before release
- Support the QA team in improving testing processes and coverage
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
- Understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC
- Basic knowledge of SQL, API testing, and web/mobile testing
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow structured testing processes
- Internship or 0–1 year experience in QA is a plus
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Postman)
- Basic scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
